On the last Saturday in September each year, GFWC hosts its International Day of Service. On this day, all of GFWC's member clubs focus on the same issue and participate in projects to benefit the cause. In 2025 and 2026, GFWC's signature project, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention is the focus.

This year, our club collected toiletries for the residents of the Tug Valley Recovery Shelter, our local domestic violence shelter that supports victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Mingo and Logan counties. We also participated in the National Clothesline Project, which allows victims and survivors to share their journey anonymously through t-shirts.

We appreciate Diann Hannah and Sheryle Sullivan at South Side Mall for allowing us to set up our t-shirt station and display the shirts there.
